8 bit sfx

Hey, I need some 8bit sfx for a run n gun game, gunshots, explosions, powerups etc. anybody know where to get some from? or a good way of creating the 8bit effect?

    you can download sfxr for free for the iphone, it's basically an iphone port of cfxr and works great.
