First-Gen iPad Can't Seem to Handle My App. Suggestions?
My game is out to beta testers, and I've started to get feedback that it's crashing a lot from people who have first-generation iPads. My ad hocs on the second- and third-generation iPads work fine.
Have other people encountered this? What's the solution? Do I need to just make it generally more efficient, or are there specific things to do to make it first-gen compatible?

There are a lot of things you can do to improve performance. I think the biggest are recycle actors and use tricks to remove timers if you use a lot of those. I think recycling actors is the biggest thing you can do, just search the forums there is PLENTY of info on that.
