Ok v1.1 is now out for iOS. It has a few minor bug fixes and is published with GS 0.10.1 to make sure it's fully compatible with iOS6.
I decided to make it a free game so if you haven't already - go download it! It's a pretty interesting game, hopefully it will stimulate many areas in your brain...!
So I finally got a Mac App Store (MAS) account. McBank just went live on the MAS today.

McBank v1.3 went live today. It's now universal. Also I set it to free. So if you didn't check it out the first time round, now's the time!
The central gameplay mechanic is an interesting one. It's match 3, but strategic match 3. So rather than arcade style, you have to think ahead and plan your moves. So there is no timer. This is a thinking person's game.
So cool to see when someone really understands what the game is about. Unfortunately not everyone does. I wanted to make it all in the game world. And not explain anything to the player or have a HUD but just let them explore and figure it out. As a player that's the kind of thing I like.
But a lot of people on the app store find that frustrating and want to have clear instructions about what to do. Now it's free some people leave really scathing reviews because they don't get it. I might try and make things more clear in an update without compromising the atmosphere.
By the way on the first day of being in AppsGoneFree it got 7000 downloads so I think it's worth doing.
McBank is one of the most awesome and unique games made with GS - cool match-3, with superb setting. Shaz also had a great idea to give players two possible ways of playing, and to spend money on fancy stuff
