While submitting my iPad game through Application Loader I am getting these issues:

Info.plist: Unexpected value for key: CFBundleIcons is not a dictionary.

and

iPad: Info.plist: Unable to verify icon dimensions, no icon found. You must define CFBundleIcons, CFBundleIconFiles, CFBundleIconFile, or provide a default icon - 72.png that is 72x72

    I've had some issues sending a build to TestFlight, the app keeps crashing with this message, and it also mentions the icon. I'm wondering if something else died. @codewizard, @SaladStraightShooter, anything funky going on?

    Application Specific Information:
    *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSUnknownKeyException', reason: '[<__NSCFString 0x7fcda3c03740> valueForUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key CFBundlePrimaryIcon.'
    abort() called
    terminate called throwing an exception

    @gotyours Yea I'll probably just give it another shot tomorrow.

    So yea the issue I was seeing yesterday in iTunes Connect distorting my metadata must have just been because they were undergoing construction.

    As far as this issue here though, I just tried to resubmit and I'm still getting the same issue. Little help here @CodeWizard and @BlackCloakGS

    I'm seeing related issues with TestFlight, I did notice a change in the info.plist files generated on monday vs tuesday. In the more recent builds I found a new key called Icon Files (iOS 5).

    Yea, would be nice if we could get any response as to whether this is a known issue or if they are looking into it.

    Did GS tinker with their Publishing servers recently or whatever it is that wraps up the projects with the nice little bow for submission?

    Happening to me on Universal Builds. Testflight was fine, but Application Loader brings up the same errors @Extilum reported, relating to the CFBundleIcons. Really disappointing as I'd been waiting for this very moment (first submission) for a long time!!! Kind of ruined that champagne moment... :(

    @FallacyStudios is the winner. We did do an update to our packaging servers yesterday. There were a few bug fixes, but unfortunately one of them created another bug.

    I misread the icon/plist spec when we tried to fix a bug related to how icons were generated for universal binaries.

    I've put out what I'm hoping is an acceptable patch. Please give it another shot and I'll check back in this thread after dinner and see how things go. (I haven't had the chance to test the fix by submitting an app yet).

    @adent42 Oh man, don't you just hate when fixing a bug results in another bug :/ . It drives me nuts. Kudos to you for finding it and fixing it swiftly :D. Works like a charm and purrs like a kitten.
