found a small bug in the main release (thought I got them all!) where the rate game button does not work, so I've submitted an update and put in an expedited review request.
very strange, i had put iAds in the game, and i've yet to see any. If anyone has a moment, please download the game and play a level. Let me know if you see any iads.
Downloaded and played for quite a while... very fun game! It does take a few days for iAds to be approved so maybe it's just taking a little longer than usual. If it's working in AdHoc and it made it through Apple review I suspect it's working.

I'd appreciate all the reviews I can get, so if you have not yet, download the game (it's free!) and give it an honest review
I forgot to mention, this is my first game to use the networking function, I'm using it to see how far each player gets in the game using a custom generated non identifying GUID I created (see my thread here).
Some of the things I can check:
how many individual players play the game
how often an individual opens the game
how far an individual gets in the game
an individual's highest score in impossible mode
an individuals screen resolution (which I can use to determine their iOS device)
I can also use this function to compare the internal version of the game vs the latest released version, and show an 'update available' button if it's behind.
and it will all show up on a custom dashboard I am making
I'm going to use this to see how many times people actually play the game, how often they come back, if they all die on a certain level. It would have been GREAT to have in my game A Long Way Home to help balance the later levels, but oh well.
I am going to be using the networking function HEAVILY in my next game to do all sorts of fun stuff

yea I'm up near boston. I got 2+ feet of snow on tuesday, fun times shoveling that out.
@jonmulcahy Even though i just downloaded the latest version, it it still showing me upgrade available in the game. Also the leaderboards don't seem to be posting the score, they are all 0's.

Can you send me a screenshot of the info screen?
And your talking about the game center leaderboards? I'll take a look. It seems like I've been hit by a graphics but too, the background is too dark. Time for a 1.0.4 update!
I also submitted an expedited review request, hopefully they approve it this time since its a GC bug
Apple is most likely going to deny the expedited review, this is used in emergencies like in app purchases, copyright issues etc. Don't ask for expedite review so many times or they will get upset.

I dunno, I've used it many times over the years for less. I've probably requested 20 over the past. 6 years and gotten 16 approved? Something like that. I've always had better luck when review times were shorter. I think as they get busy they get more stringent.

Gotten about half hour played and seen no ads yet!
That's very strange, it works in adhoc mode. I'll wait and see if the new update fixes it as I know for a fact that's working in adhoc.

Version 1.0.3 has been released, so it should be making it's way through the app store shortly, and it looks like iAds are finally working properly.
If you open the app now, you should see the 'update available' button in action.

I dunno, I've used it many times over the years for less. I've probably requested 20 over the past. 6 years and gotten 16 approved? Something like that. I've always had better luck when review times were shorter. I think as they get busy they get more stringent.
