I'm still not able to publish a single android build since it was released. I did manage an adhoc iOS build last night, but every android build gets the "publishing server is experiencing problems" error

@fzeed: Thanks for the tips! Yeah I figured it out, I just had way too many devices trying to connect to my router, so I may have to invest in a 2nd... I think there's a device limit, and it just so happened that the Kindle was unable to connect, I went ahead and reset my modem, and connected only those devices I really wanted to connect until I get it resolved.

Just tried to install my Kindle Fire apk using the new update and still get the Parse Error. Arghhhhhhhh. What am I doing wrong?
  • The_Gamesalad_GuruThe_Gamesalad_Guru Member Posts: 9,922
Make sure you put version 1 in first box and version 2 in second box

No luck with the update still sound delay of about three seconds.
  • gregr209gregr209 Member Posts: 441
But 1 in the first box and 2 in the second box and still get the Parse Error. I tried using both the signed and unsigned app.

I will give it a shot. I was able to install the GS Viewer with NO problems. So I will try this method for a build that I have done of my own apps.

Are you in the UK or US?

If US, install a file browser manager, something like apkinstaller from android store, email your build, save the attachment and use the file manager to install from the internal memory, very easy :)

I am in the US. I have installed a file browser manager. That is how I was able to install the GS Viewer. That worked like a charm. I have tried transferring my signed and unsigned apk build to Kindle Fire via USB and emailed it and using the file browser still get the Parse Error.

Does anyone know how/if you're able to change the location of the home bar?

Currently it's showing up on the sides of the screen even though I'm making a game in landscape mode, where it should be showing up along the bottom instead.

performance on android is so terrible.. (well i guess mainly movement heavy stuff and audio) i put it on music as TSB recommended, and it made the delay a ted bit better... but still.. terrible. just less terrible than sound effect. haha .. well i guess it's not funny... hope things improve soon..
